Congratulations on two new Bergamo staff AMI diplomas

Congratulations to Lacey and Erin on receiving their AMI Assistant to Infancy (for ages 0-3 years old) diplomas from The Montessori Institute!

Lacey

Lacey started at Bergamo Academy in 2008 as an assistant. Inspired by Montessori as it was implemented at Bergamo Academy, she took it upon herself to enroll at TMI to obtain an AMI diploma so as to become a toddler guide at Bergamo Academy. Having been mentored by Jacquelyn Greenbaum, working as her assistant for two years, she is in the 2011-2012 school year taking over Jacquelyn's classroom as Jacquelyn devotes her time full-time to being Director at Bergamo Academy.

Erin

Erin is a Primary (ages 2.5-6+) guide at Bergamo Academy, but wanted to add a second AMI certification for Assistant to Infancy (ages 0-3) in order to better understand the younger end of the spectrum within her Primary classroom. Erin becomes the first Bergamo Academy staff member to hold two AMI diplomas.
