Enrollment Process

1. Tour the school.

2. Complete an application form and mail it along with the $75 application fee to:

    P.O. Box 9009
    Denver, CO 80209

3. If child is over three-and-a-half years old, attend one hour interview with the Head of School to determine if it is a good fit for child, family, and school.

4. Wait for acceptance letter. If accepted, along with the acceptance letter will be the Parent Handbook, Emergency Contact Info and medical forms to complete, and a contract to sign.

5. Return the signed contract along with the tuition downpayment and other completed forms.

6. A copy of the signed contract will be returned to you.

7. In the case of a toddler student, the toddler teacher may pay a home visit.

Toddler Environment (ages 14-36 months)

UPDATE August 21, 2010: There are still a couple of spaces left for 2010-2011 for an August or September start. Spaces for a January, 2011 start are also in short supply.

Primary Environment (ages two-and-a-half to six years)

UPDATE August 21, 2010: Bergamo Academy has physically expanded one of its Primary classrooms ahead of schedule, and now has space for 5 more students.

Lower Elementary Environment (ages six to eight years)

Bergamo Academy is accepting applications for first and second graders who have had previous Montessori. Each passing year, the elementary age range will be expanded by one year.

Denver Preschool Program

Bergamo Academy is a participant of the Denver Preschool Program. Denver four-year-olds can qualify for tuition assistance. The amount of assistance depends on income (and even some assistance is available for higher income levels). To find out how much, click on the "calculator" button at dpp.org. For the 2010/2011 school year, the student must have been born between August 20, 2005 and October 1, 2006.
